What if it rains or the weather looks bad?▾
Safety is our top priority. In the event of unsafe weather — severe rain, lightning, high winds, or unsafe water conditions — reservations may be rescheduled to a future available date or issued a credit toward a future experience. Weather-related decisions are determined solely by Exotic Watersport.
Can I cancel or reschedule?▾

Cancellations made 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled reservation time are eligible for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the scheduled reservation time are eligible for a 50% refund.

Guests are asked to arrive 15–20 minutes early for check-in and a safety briefing. Late arrivals may result in reduced ride time if another reservation follows. No-shows or guests who arrive significantly past their reservation time may result in cancellation without refund.

Do I need a boating license?▾

If you were born on or after January 1, 1988, you must have a valid Florida Boating Safety Education Identification (BSEID) card — or an approved temporary certificate — to legally operate any motorboat rated at 10 horsepower or more on Florida waters. This applies whether you own the boat, rented it, or borrowed it from a friend.

You don't need it to book — if you don't already have one, you can get a temporary license online: Get your temporary license.

How old do I need to be to drive?▾
Drivers must be 18 or older. There's no minimum age for passengers, but every rider needs a valid photo ID at check-in.
Can kids ride along?▾
Yes — kids can ride as passengers with an adult driving. Life jackets are provided and required for everyone on board.
What should I bring?▾
  • Valid government-issued photo ID and proof of completion of the boater safety course
  • Refundable deposit (required at check-in)
  • Phone for photos/videos; sunglasses & sunscreen recommended
  • Towel and change of clothes optional

What's the cancellation policy on my signed rental agreement — is it different from the general policy?▾
Yes, slightly: the signed Bareboat Rental Agreement offers a 50% refund for cancellations inside 24 hours (rather than none), since it's the binding contract for your specific booking. Either way, cancelling 24+ hours ahead always gets a full refund.
Can I gift this experience to someone?▾
